Dealing With Conflict (BTE-B06)

Description
This course starts with some basics around taking personal responsibility for your outcomes, plus a look at how human communication works – or, mostly, doesn’t work.

This is followed by a deeper look into how we think about other people’s behaviour and its influence on us. Every behaviour has a positive intention, and we very often have no true insight into people’s reasons for their behaviour. Reframing helps unstick unhelpful interpretations of other people.

The negotiation model introduces a way of creatively discovering alternatives that conflicting parties can eventually agree on. Perceptual Positions enhances this process by offering an important mechanism for seeing a conflict situation from multiple perspectives.
